How freckle tattoos work
Erica places small, varied dots of pigment in a soft brown matched to your skin tone. Real freckles aren't uniform, so she varies the size, spacing and depth to keep them natural. Most clients choose the nose and cheeks; some add a light scatter across the forehead or shoulders.
Placement is drawn on first, so you see exactly where your freckles will go and how many before anything is permanent.
Who they suit

If you have an active breakout, a rash or a skin condition on your face, wait until it clears. If you're pregnant or nursing, it's best to wait too.
Healing, day by day
- Day 1–2: freckles look darker and more defined than they will heal. Slight redness is normal.
- Days 3–7: tiny scabs form and flake off on their own. Don't pick or scrub.
- Weeks 2–4: freckles settle lighter and softer. Some may fade more than others.
- About 6–8 weeks: an optional touch-up fills in any that faded and adds more if you want.

How long freckle tattoos last
Most freckle tattoos soften over one to three years. Many clients like that: you can refresh them, change the pattern, or let them fade. Sunscreen, and keeping retinol and acids off the area, helps them last longer.
