Healing timeline
Lips heal quickly but go through a few visible stages. Most clients see something like this:
- Days 1–3: color looks bold and brighter than the final result. Some swelling for a few hours is normal.
- Days 3–7: lips feel dry and lightly flake. Don't pick; let it shed on its own.
- Weeks 2–4: color can look faded while the skin settles, then "blooms" back softer.
- About 6–8 weeks: your touch-up, which perfects color and evens any light spots.
